We have been in both seats
Steerly is developed by a small team in Uppsala. We have personal experience of learning to drive and supervising learners.
A plan we wished we had
Behind Steerly are two developers and an entrepreneur. Our team includes people who have recently gained their driving licence and people who have supervised their own children.
We recognised the questions before a practice session: what should we practise, where should we drive and how do we review it? Our experiences and conversations with learners and supervisors became the starting point for Steerly.

Support for both people in the car
Driving practice is about both the driving and the supervision. Once you have parked, the supervisor assesses the driving. The learner can then answer questions about the clarity of the instructions and the atmosphere.
Feedback on the supervision never changes the learner’s result in the app.
