You pay in advance through Stripe using the method you choose when ordering, such as a bank card, Apple Pay or Google Pay. The subscription renews automatically for the same length of time unless you cancel before the current period ends.

• Payment and renewal – clause 7

Cancel in the app or by email before your current paid period ends. There will be no further renewal, and you keep access to the paid features until that period ends. Your account and access to free features remain.

• Cancellation – clause 9

The person who creates the account is the User, the contracting party responsible for the subscription and payment – not automatically the learner or supervisor. You must be at least 16 to have an account, with guardian approval if you are under 18. To order a subscription, you must be at least 18 with legal capacity, or have your guardian’s consent to the order.

• Age and consent – clause 2

The account is personal and must not be shared or transferred. Handing over the phone to review a practice session once parked is not the same as sharing an account or giving someone your login details.

• Personal accounts – clause 5

Data and history are not deleted simply because the subscription ends, but access may be restricted. They become accessible again with a new subscription if they are still retained. Account deletion and the privacy notice’s retention rules still apply; data is not kept indefinitely.

You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you take out the subscription. Send a clear notice by email before that period expires. If the paid features have already begun to be provided, a proportionate charge may apply for that time. This right is separate from the trial and from stopping the next renewal.

You can close your account by email or through the functions available in the service. This ends the User Agreement, closes the account immediately and ends all access to free and paid features. Any current subscription also ends. Fees already paid are not refunded unless your right of withdrawal or mandatory consumer law entitles you to a refund.

Yes. The introductory-course requirement was removed on 1 August 2026. The other requirements remain: the supervisor must be at least 24, have held the relevant licence category for at least five of the past ten years and apply for approval as a supervisor. No. The app does not replace a learner’s permit or approval to supervise the learner. Check what applies to you with Transportstyrelsen before you start.

Steerly gives private supervised practice a structure. You can use the app’s lesson goals and briefings for practice sessions between driving-school lessons.

No. The app’s quizzes and chapter tests are for practice. The official theory test and driving test are taken with Trafikverket, the Swedish Transport Administration.

No. GPS support is used when a lesson needs a particular traffic environment. Early lessons can be stationary or take place in quiet areas without a generated route.

Yes. In Fri körning (driving outside the lesson plan), the app records time and distance during the practice session.

The theory has five chapters with 38 lessons. Each lesson is followed by a quiz and each chapter by a test, so you can practise and check your understanding.

Once you have parked, the supervisor assesses the driving and may assess their own supervision. The phone is then handed to the learner, who may assess their own driving and give feedback on the supervision. Feedback on supervision never changes the learner’s result in the app.
